Ice Cube Boats

We are studying Conduction, Convection and Radiation in Science. We have already reviewed these concepts and identified some real world examples. Now, we are off designing a toy boat that will hold 3 ice cubes. The boat needs to be designed so that it can enter the races starting on Monday, May 7th. These races will have a winner daily that keeps its ice from melting most successfully! The boats will be in a pool of warm water. How should they be designed so that they not only float but keep the ice cubes from melting? Pictures to come of the races and designs. So, whose boat will win??!!!
