Getting Ready for 6th Grade!!!!!

We have successfully completed all FCAT testing!!!! We have rested and rejuvenated ourselves!! We are now getting ready for 6th Grade. In Math, we have begun working on multiplying decimals. Monday,we worked together to learn an efficient way to multiply decimals by 10, 100 or 1000. We learned that the most efficient way is to move the decimal in the number in the problem as many times to the write as their is zeros in the multiplier. For example, 0.456 x 10 = 4.56 0.456 x 100= 45.6 0.456 x 1000= 456 Tomorrow, we will begin multiply a decimal by a whole number. We will get our homework then!
